Greenpeace al G8: un milione di lavoratori verdi per superare la crisi
the eve of the G8 in L'Aquila, Greenpeace launched a preview of the results of its new report "Powering G8 Job Creations" as creating jobs, protecting the climate.
The study shows that if the G8 countries will be able to invest in clean energy and creating green jobs will be created by 2020 more than a million new jobs in renewable 460mila more than it would have been created by continuing to invest in conventional energy, and will be reduced CO2 emissions from the energy sector by 50% by 2030.
a clear message to governments of G8 to addressing climate change while creating jobs and investing in clean energy. A preview of the report presents the employment forecasts for the G8 countries and demonstrates that, through the 'Energy Revolution', in these eight countries in 2030 would reach over a million and 800 thousand jobs in renewable energy, while achieving a reduction of 50% of CO2 emissions in the energy sector.
The governments of industrialized countries, first of all the G8 must make firm commitments and ambitious targets for tackling climate change at the next summit in Copenhagen in December. "The climate crisis and the economic need to be addressed together - says Andrea Lepore, climate campaign Greenpeace - Investing in renewable energy and efficiency is the key to saving the climate, create jobs and boost the economy. "
Italy also has everything to gain from investing in clean energy and efficiency. A recent study by the University Bocconi shows that investing in renewable energy and achieving the objectives set by the European Climate and Energy Package, Italy can create up to 250,000 new jobs by 2020, only in the electricity sector.
For uses thermal potential is even greater . While additional 60,000 new jobs, according to the Politecnico di Milano, will be created through investment in energy efficiency.
"Italy abandoned coal and leave the false solutions like nuclear power - claims Lepore - The economic crisis has transformed into an opportunity for Italy to create new jobs and move decisively towards an energy revolution. "
The key points of the" Energy Revolution "The Energy Revolution for the G8 countries for 2030 includes a goal of reducing emissions by 40% compared to 1990 levels by 2050 and a target of at least 80%. In light of current CO2 emissions by the G8 countries - USA, Canada, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Japan, Russia and France - the total reduction of CO2 in the production of energy should be at least 50% by 2030. According to the scenario of the Revolution Energy Efficiency:
• The CO2 emissions will peak in 2015 and then begin to decline
• Emission reductions must be achieved through existing technologies, energy efficiency and renewable energy. Coal and nuclear would be phased out. • would be created over a million new jobs in renewable energy by 2020.
• By 2030, provides for a 18% reduction in electricity demand.
• In 2020, the scenario for the G8 provides a production capacity of renewable electricity to 978 GW, which generates 32% of the total electricity, compared with 20% who would under the current trends affecting
• By 2030, the installed capacity from renewable sources will rise to 1,500 GW, reaching 50% of the total electricity generated.
• The total value of industry of renewable energy would triple to about $ 100 billion (70 billion euro) in 2007, to 347 billion euro in 2020. Since 2030, more than 420 billion dollars could be invested in renewable energy.

Lies have short legs
lies have short legs
In recent days the government approved a decree called "crisis" by amending certain provisions of the Public Administration staff.
The Government, only to regain credibility and acclaim, it restores the old bands (10-12 and 15 -17) in the sick leave and will not cut productivity for those who have benefited from the various permits.
1.sulla produttività: un quarto del personale prenderà il 50% del totale, la metà avrà l’altro 50% e al restante quarto dei lavoratori non andrà neppure un euro;
2. codici disciplinari da caserma che incideranno sulla valutazione e sulla stessa erogazione della produttività;
3. almost the end of the horizontal progression (will be very few, and to contest every three years).
Even against these additional maneuvers the COBAS governmental and grassroots unions have supported the general strike of PUBLIC SERVICE FRIDAY 'July 3 (last three hours of round).
Other than claim victory, there are even more reasons to be angry and determined to fight!

But where is the deception?
Nell 'hypothesis of local self-government agreement (June 4, 2009), CGIL CISL UIL signed just 40 euro increases as proposed by the Government and Brunetta. With this money our wages lose more purchasing power so much so that Istat talking about payroll firm, in the public sector for over a year and a half
And to think that they speak of volunteers increases the additional payment by the Government for months that are organic and cutting spending instead of staff.
