PRESS RELEASE ELECTION OF REPRESENTATIVES OF NEW STUDENTS

Wednesday 6 and Thursday, May 7, 2009, at the Electoral Office is located in Via Po 11 - Torino , there will be elections of new student representatives to university bodies and outside the university.
In the election will be eligible to all students enrolled in degree programs of study, specialization and the old system of the University of Turin, which have submitted application on the specific lists by Thursday 16 April at 12.00. Each student can apply for up to two bodies and, if elected, will serve for two years. They can vote all students enrolled at the University of Turin, including the electoral roll or hold a certificate of authorization to vote, which will be issued by the Secretariat of the Faculty of belonging.
During the 2009 elections will elect eight representatives to the University Senate, 3 representatives for the Board of Directors of the University, two representatives to the Board of Directors of the Regional for the Right to University Study of Piedmont, 4 representatives to the Committee for University Sport, a variable number between 9 and 13 representatives to the councils Faculty, be based on the number enrolled in the Faculty, and a variable number depending on the number of members and not more than 25% of the number of professors and non-permanent representatives to the councils of undergraduate courses.
